The Library 10 Final exams start on Wednesday Dec 8th and end on Tuesday Dec 14th.
Take your final exam in the library according to the following schedule.
If your last name starts with:
A-F : Wed 8th OR Thurs 9th between 8am - 6pm
G-K : Thurs 9th between 8am - 6pm OR Fri 10th between 11am - 2 pm
L-P : Friday 10th between 11am - 2pm OR Mon 11th between 8am - 6pm
Q-U: Mon 13th between 8am - 6pm OR Tues 14th between 8am - 6pm
V-Z: Tues 14th between 8am - 6pm
Check in at the Reference desk first.
The final is a closed book, OPEN computer exam.
Be sure you can:
1. Use the Library's full text databases to find relevant sources on a single topic.
2. Create citations following MLA format.
3. Define terms from the workbook.
4. Understand plagiarism and how to avoid it.
5. Limit to a particular type of material or format in the Library catalog.
6. Choose the correct Library database to use for a particular topic.
7. Distinguish between Primary & Secondary sources
